"The Drake Bay Getaway was an unexpected delight! Views from the room were exquisite, as each villa is perched on a hillside with an ocean view. "Really great staff who really know the area and cultivate the farm. They can give you information on ecology you won't find outside of guided tour groups in the park, and there's also yoga. The property is beautiful and it is easy to see birds. It is a pretty primitive property and so you should be expecting bug bites and no modern comforts. Bathing in rainwater is amazing, but it is also not warm. Also the ants really bite- I was itchy for a week afterward. So be careful. "

"Mariadelia welcomed us to the hotel with smoothies and refreshing towels. She was such an angel our whole stay. She anticipated our needs, answered our questions, and helped us book activities. I hope she gets paid highly because she certainly deserves it! We also loved talking with the bartender, Diego who was a sweetie. One of the chefs, Randall also came over and took a picture of me and my husband without us having to ask. Everyone on staff clearly works hard to upkeep this lovely getaway. The food was delicious, the pool was refreshing, and we LOVED having access to the private beach! We are already talking about coming back to celebrate an anniversary- see you then Natural Drake Bay Hotel!"
